Hi, I'm IMOGEN COX!

Hi, I'm Imogen. I am a photography student currently studying on the (BA) Hons Photography course in my final year. This Portfolio Presents some of my best projects from the past few years. I'm a photographer who is interested in Fine Art Photography. My work is very experimental and I enjoy discovering new techniques to create visually unusual and surreal work that comments on subjects that I’m passionate about. A lot of my work is told from my own perspective, communicating visually in a way that word’s alone cannot describe. My work is very intimate as a result. I work in a style that I describe as emotional realism, using surreal visuals to explore the emotional reality of a topic, rather than being true to life. This allows me to explore emotions and perspectives in a way that a viewer can empathise and understand on a deeper level.
